Description
The 1982 (D) Lincoln Cent - Large Date Bronze is a cent minted at the Denver Mint, within the Lincoln Memorial Cents 1959-2008 series. The obverse features Abraham Lincoln facing right and the reverse displays the Lincoln Memorial building in Washington, D.C. Transitional year: seven varieties exist with combinations of large date/small date and bronze/zinc compositions in both Philadelphia and Denver production. The Denver Mint, which grew from an 1860s gold rush assay office, has served as a major production facility since 1906. Auction record: $11 AU58BN 05-02-2024 eBay.
