Description
The 1976 Lincoln Memorial Cent is a cent produced at the Philadelphia Mint as part of the Lincoln Memorial Cents 1959-2008 series. The obverse features Abraham Lincoln facing right and the reverse displays the Lincoln Memorial building in Washington, D.C.. Bicentennial year β no special cent design was issued, unlike quarters, half dollars, and dollars. Struck at the original U.S. Mint facility, in continuous operation since 1792.
