Remarkable for exhibiting quadruple spread — four distinct hub impressions on a single die — this 1967 Kennedy Half Dollar DDR-007 shows medium quadruple spread on the stars around the rim with the strongest displacement concentrated at the top. Light quadruple spread also appears on the lower serifs of STATES OF AMERICA, while double spread affects the stars positioned between the heraldic eagle's rays. Quadruple-spread dies are exceptionally uncommon, as they require the hub to contact the die four times with slightly different alignments during the die-making process.
