The 1967 Doubled Die Obverse DDO-008 is a doubled die obverse (DDO) variety, where a misalignment during the die hubbing process created visible doubling on the obverse design elements. This variety was discovered on the 1967 Kennedy Half Dollar, part of the Kennedy Half Dollars Silver Clad 1965-1970 series. Die markers: UVC-322 DMR-019 Stage A: Die scratch North-South through Right side of the first T of TRUST – EDS Die scratches North-South on lower Reverse – EDS Stage B: Obverse and Reverse are MDS UVC-474 DMR-031 Stage C: Obverse is LDS Reverse die changed – LDS Reverse has doubled stars CW from K-6 to K-12.
