The 1965 Dime Patterns is a United States dime from the Modern Patterns (1943 to Date) series — 5th of 15 years in the series. Produced at the Philadelphia Mint. The obverse features various experimental designs for proposed coinage changes and the reverse displays various experimental designs. Struck after the transition from silver to clad coinage, as the Mint adapted to modern production methods and record-breaking mintages. A notable auction result reached $10K in MS66 grade at Heritage Auctions. Designed by Various U.S. Mint designers.
