The 1958 Doubled Die Reverse DDR-001 is a doubled die reverse (DDR) variety, where die hubbing misalignment produced visible doubling on the reverse design. This variety was discovered on the 1958 Proof Franklin Half Dollar, part of the Franklin Half Dollars 1948-1963 series.
