1956 Doubled Die Reverse DDR-002

Description

Recognized as one of the stronger doubled die reverses among Proof Franklin Half Dollars, the 1956 DDR-002 displays bold spread on HALF DOLLAR and AMERICA, with a striking triple spread on the lower eagle and the final A of AMERICA. Lighter doubling extends to STATES OF, E PLURIBUS UNUM, and the upper eagle. Cross-referenced as FS-802 in the Cherrypickers' Guide, this variety utilizes reverse die variety RDV-002.
