Light spread on UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, and the eagle marks the 1956 Proof Franklin Half Dollar DDR-011 as a variety with doubling across multiple reverse design elements. Attributed by VarietyVista as UVC-249 with die marriage DMR-022, the Type 1 proof parent designation indicates this die pair used the earlier of two recognized proof die configurations for 1956. Stage A at early die state shows light die scratches on the central bell hanger — a diagnostic marker on one of the Liberty Bell's most prominent structural features. Stages B and C remain unconfirmed. The reverse die variant is RDV-002.
