Description

A strong spread towards the center along with extra thickness shows on the letters of IN GOD WE TRUST, LIBERTY, and the date. Die Markers: Obverse: Two parallel die scratches run NW to SE through the bottom of the 5. A strong die gouge can be found to the right of the bottom of the ear and another on the collar to the right of the Y in LIBERTY. Reverse: A die gouge (dot) can be found between the tops of the O and F in OF. A short, strong die scratch curves south from the underside of the top of the diagonal bar of the N in ONE. X-shaped die scratches can be found above and between the E and N of CENT. Two die scratches curve NNE from the top of the C in CENT. Die scratches curve NNW from the tops of the second T and the E in STATES. Obverse:
