Description

An extra eyelid is present southeast of the normal eyelid. Die Markers: Obverse: Light diagonal die scratches show in the openings of the 5 and 3 in the date. Concentric die scratches run near the rim including above IN, through WE, between the letters T and R in TRUST, and from below L in LIBERTY to about 6 o’clock. Light concentric die scratches run through the letter Y in LIBERTY. Reverse: A series of light concentric die scratches run through the letters of E PLURIBUS. Die scratches show on the upper edge of the opening in the O and through the upper E in ONE. A series of concentric die scratches run through the letters U and N in UNITED. Submitted By: James C.
