Description
Obverse: Die Markers: Obverse: The obverse is a doubled die listed in the Wexler Doubled Die Files as 1945 10¢ WDDO-001. A Class II spread towards the center is seen on IGWT, the date, and the designer's initials. Two parallel die gouges north from rim below E of WE. Die gouge ENE/WSW between the upper right side of the Y of LIBERTY and the rim. Die scratch NNE from the right upper side of the 4 in the date. Reverse: Short NNE/SSW die gouge between the A and T of STATES.
