Description
Class II spread toward the center seen on IGWT, date and the designer's initials. Die Markers: Obverse: Two parallel die gouges north from rim below E of WE. Die gouge ENE/WSW between the upper right side of the Y of LIBERTY and the rim. Die scratch NNE from the right upper side of the 4 in the date. Reverse: The reverse is a doubled die listed in the Wexler Doubled Die Files as 1945 10¢ WDDR-001. A Class I CCW spread shows on USA, both stars, EPU, ONE DIME and lower olive branch. Strongest spread is on lower reverse indicating rotation point was between the center and the rim. Short NNE/SSW die gouge between the A and T of STATES.
