1945-D Doubled Die Obverse WDDO-002

Description

A Class II spread towards the center shows as tripling on the lower gown, the lower sun ray and the right shoe. Die Markers: Obverse: Die scratch east from the T running through the Y of LIBERTY. Reverse: The reverse of this variety is also an RPM that is listed in the Wexler RPM Files as 1945-D 50¢ WRPM-001. It is a D/D Tilted (Rotated). E/W and ENE/WSW die scratches on the rock above the DOL of DOLLAR.
