Description
A twenty centavos coin from the Denver Mint, the 1944 (D) Philippine Twenty Centavos belongs to the Philippines Twenty Centavos 1903-1945 series. The obverse features a female figure standing beside an anvil and the reverse displays an eagle above a shield. Produced during World War II, when the Mint altered coin compositions to conserve strategic metals for the war effort.
