Description

Obverse: Die Markers: Obverse: The obverse of this variety is a doubled die listed in the Wexler Doubled Die Files as 1936 50¢ WDDO-004. Die gouge (dot) in the field south of the left leg of the R in TRUST. Two die gouges (dots) in the field north of the back of the right shoe. Reverse: Half U-shaped die scratch on the eagle's left leg.
