Description
A Class V CCW spread from a pivot at about 11:00 can be found on the date, the lower right rays, the bottom of the gown, IGWT, and the outer leaves. An earlier die state may show additional doubling to the RTY of LIBERTY. Die Markers: Obverse: A die crack runs WSW from the top left of the Y in LIBERTY. Two small die gouges (dots) can be found to the left of the bottom of the 1st T in TRUST. A short die gouge runs from NNW to SSE below the gown above and between the 3 and 6 in the date. Reverse: A die scratch runs SE from under the I in UNITED. A strong die scratch runs NNE from the top of the I in PLURIBUS. Numerous die scratches run SSW or SW under the eagle’s head. Obverse:
