Description
A strong spread to the NNE shows on the date, designer's initials, IGWT, and the base of the bust. Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: A die gouge can be found to the right of the upper 6 in the date. Horizontal die scratch near the bottom of the neck north of the 19 in the date. Short die scratch ENE from the back point of the bust. Obverse Stage B: The die scratch from the back point of the bust has been abraded away. Reverse Stage A: A die scratch runs WSW from the bottom of the E in STATES. Reverse Stage B: Same as Stage A.
