Description
The 1936 Doubled Die Reverse DDR-004 is a doubled die reverse (DDR) variety, where die hubbing misalignment produced visible doubling on the reverse design. This variety was discovered on the 1936 Lincoln Wheat Cent, part of the Lincoln Wheat Cents 1909-1958 series. Die markers: UVC-1351 DMR-018 Stage A: Several circular die scratches around the perimeter of the Reverse – MDS Die gouge dot below R of AMERICA Obverse is MDS Stage B: Reverse and Obverse are MDS Stage C: LDS (unconfirmed).
