=1935-S VAM-3 Extra Ray= Discovered by Olav Berghli, May 1939. 3 III 1 - Ca (Extra Ray) I-2 R-3 Reverse Ca - Normal C type reverse with micro S mint mark. Added fourth ray below one. Added seventh ray below eagle's tail. Comments: 1. Extra ray points at the mint mark. No doubling is evident on the VAM-3 reverse.
