The 1920 Die Trial is a United States coin from the Die Trials, Hub Trials, and Splashers 1792-1982 series — a late issue, 34th of 39 years in the series. The obverse features test impressions from coin dies, ranging from fully detailed to partial impressions and the reverse displays test impressions that may be blank, partial, or paired with unrelated dies (mules). Minted during and after World War I, as America emerged as a global power and experienced the prosperity of the Roaring Twenties.
