Description

The 1909 Doubled Die Reverse DDR-012 is a doubled die reverse (DDR) variety, where die hubbing misalignment produced visible doubling on the reverse design. This variety was discovered on the 1909 Lincoln Wheat Cent - VDB, part of the Lincoln Wheat Cents 1909-1958 series. Die markers: UVC-3407 DMR-021 Stage A: EDS (unconfirmed) Stage B: Die scratch North from lower Right side of E of CENT – EMDS Obverse is EMDS Stage C: LDS (unconfirmed). Reverse is RDV-003 (No V.D.B.).
