Description

The 1909 Doubled Die Reverse DDR-008 is a doubled die reverse (DDR) variety, where die hubbing misalignment produced visible doubling on the reverse design. This variety was discovered on the 1909 Lincoln Wheat Cent - VDB, part of the Lincoln Wheat Cents 1909-1958 series. Die markers: UVC-2566 DMR-015 Stage A: EDS (unconfirmed) Stage B: Horizontal die scratch from middle of N to T of CENT – MDS Obverse is MDS Stage C: LDS (unconfirmed). Reverse is RDV-003 (No V.D.B.).
