The 1909 Doubled Die Reverse DDR-001 is a doubled die reverse (DDR) variety, where die hubbing misalignment produced visible doubling on the reverse design. This variety was discovered on the 1909 Lincoln Wheat Cent - VDB, part of the Lincoln Wheat Cents 1909-1958 series. Die markers: UVC-1213 DMR-008 Stage A: Two die scratches Southwest from upper C of CENT – EDS Light die clash at throat – MDS Stage B: Reverse die scratches are weak – MDS Die crack across back of bust to rim – LDS Stage C: LDS (unconfirmed). Reverse is RDV-003 (No V.D.B.).
