Description

Class VI extra thickness spread towards the center shows on EPU, the dots, and both wheat ears and stems. Die Markers: Obverse: A die crack runs NE from the rim at 7:30 and then turns eastward across the base of the bust. Reverse: A die crack runs east from the rim at about 10:00 into the top of the left wheat ear turning north briefly and then southeast into the field to the right of the wheat ear. Four parallel die scratches run from SE in the field to the right of the E in ONE. A light die crack extends ESE from the upper right T in CENT. Die chips show on both sides of the horizontal bar of the T in CENT. A light die crack runs down the right side of the vertical bar of the T in CENT and runs SE into the field below the T. A short wavy die crack runs south from the top of the C in AMERICA. Another short wavy die crack runs to the south from the lower right N in UNITED to the upper right O in OF. Two die scratches run west to east between the lower U and N of UNUM. Obverse:
