Description
A nice spread towards the center shows on both wheat ears and the wheat stems. A spread towards the center also shows on the letters of EPU and the dots. The spread of the doubling is strongest on the left side of the reverse. Die Markers: Obverse: A die crack runs from the rim at about 7:30 NE through two of the upper folds in the vest. Reverse: A die scratch runs NNW from the lower inside of the C in CENT. There are two die gouges inside the E of AMERICA just slightly below the center bar. Obverse:
