Revised 2009, 2010, 2012, 2014 26(revised) III215 · C4l (Doubled Profile & Reverse Legend, Near Date) (181) Obverse III215 – Die 1 - Doubled nose, lips and chin on Liberty head profile. Date set further left than normal. Die 2 - Date in middle of near date lateral position. Slightly doubled forehead edge, nose and chin. ''Die marker - Die #2''- Die chip at front of neck and short horizontal die scratch in hair behind jaw-neck junction. Die also used for 1902-O VAM-77. Die 3 - Date in middle of near date lateral position. ''Die marker Die #3'' - Polishing roughness at UNU in UNUM. EDS of VAM-44A. Die 4 - Date at right side of near date lateral position. ''Die marker -'' Three raised dots in a line to right of left star and some pitting at lower front of eye. Reverse C4l– Hub doubling of UNITED STATES OF AMERICA in radial direction, doubled upper right and left wreaths towards rim, In God We Trust and eagle's head doubled at top. ''Hub markers'' - Slightly tripled lower serif of N in UNITED and doubled top of eagle's head. Die 1 - III O mint mark set slightly high and tilted left with polishing line bands thru STAT. Fine vertical lines in middle of eagle's right wing. Die 2 - III O mint mint mark slightly titled left. ''Die marker'' - Two long vertical die scratches in upper middle of eagle's left wing. This Die also used for 1902-O VAM-45 Die 3. Die 3 - III O mint mark tilted slightly left. ''Die marker -'' Short horizontal die scratch on lower inner feather of eagle's right wing. EDS of VAM-44A. Die 4 - III O mint mark centered & upright.
