Description
1902-O VAM-12 Doubled Profile, 2 Olive Reverse Discovered by Henry Dierkoph, June 1978. Revised 2010 12 (revised) III2 6 - C4/C3a (Doubled Profile, Near Date, 2 Olive Reverse) (181) Obverse III2-6: Doubled nose, lips, chin and neck on Liberty's profile. All stars on left doubled slightly near rim. E-PLURIBUS UNUM doubled slightly on lower portions of letters towards rim. Date set low and further left than normal. Reverse C4/C3a- III O mint mark doubled slightly at top right inside. Shallow extra olive to the right of olive connected to olive branch. Doubling on top of arrow feathers, base of of left olive leaf cluster, on top of olive branch at right of olives, and back of lower arrow head. OD WE TRUS doubled at top. Thread-like circular die impression on eagle's left wing middle.
