Description
1892-CC VAM-7 Slanted Date Discovered by Leonard Hinckley, February 1974. Revised May 2025 7 III2 4 • C3f (Slanted Date) Obverse III2 4 - Date slanted with open 2 appreciably higher than 1. Short, thick gouge upward from denticle between 1 and 8. Reverse C3f - Second C slightly high with serif nearly touching ribbon. Die Marker - Diagonal scratch at right side of wreath bow. Roughness in wing-neck gap. DPIS - C3/LE5 Emission Sequence Obverse: Reverse: Comments: A circulated specimen with a double clash at the neck and right edge of the G is known. It could not be determined if this is a listable clash or not.
