=1890-O VAM-2A1 High O, Clashed Obverse G & t= Discovered by Mark Kimpton, June 2005. This coin is a Kimpton 12 Morgan Vam. 2A1 III21 · C3b (High O, Clashed Obverse G & t) (181) Obverse III21– Clashed die w/ faint partial incuse G of God from reverse showing next to Liberty's neck & partial incuse t of Trust from reverse showing in right hair vee of lower hair edge. DPIS - ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # Two die state are now recognized 2A1 and late die state 2A2 with a radial die crack & displaced field. At least one of these is known with unlistable rim cuds on the obverse from about 5:00 to 7:00. # Clashed G and t and pretty much identical to 1890-O VAM-4A. Be sure to look at date and mint mark.
