1885-P VAM-9E Far Date, Clashed Obverse n Discovered by C. Logan McKechnie in November 2011 9E III2 9 - C3a (Far Date, Clashed Obverse n,) (?) Obverse lll2 9 - Date at left side of far date lateral position. Clashed die with faint partial incuse n of In from reverse showing at Liberty's neck edge. Die clash higher than 1885-P VAM-9C & 1885-P VAM-9D. Some hubbing liquid circles at back of Phrygian cap. Die Marker - Short horizontal die scratch at hair edge below ear. Reverse C3a - Die Marker - Short die gouge at top left of D in DOLLAR. DPIS - Emission Sequence Obverse: Reverse: Comments: The circular Die Impression is very difficult to see so a nice tilt with good light is needed.
