1885-P VAM-4 Low Dash Under 8 Discovered by Felix Rorundo, March 1966. 4 III2 4 - C3a (Low Dash Under 8) (188) Obverse III2 4 - Dash well below second 8 shifted right. DPIS - Emission Sequence Obverse: Reverse: Comments: EDS specimens have a very Faint dash and difficult to see but it is there, the reverse Gouge in gap of the Eagles right leg confirms this variety. No die gouge by 7th left star by E of PLURIBUS. If you have gouge (by the 7th star left of the date), please see 1885-P VAM-4B. If you have Gouge and Clashed, see 1885-P VAM-4A.
