Description
Discovery August 2022, Michael Dustin I2 3 • A1c (Doubled Date) (?) Obverse I2 3 - Very early die stage with no chip at the denticles above the right dot. Reverse A1c - DPIS – In 1878 dates were part of the master die so there is no variation in position. ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # Discovery coin is dark VF. Absence of chip and damage to the coin, as well as a match to other VAM 4 features confirmed by several collectors, but a higher grade specimen would be most welcome for further study.
