Description
1878-P VAM-42 7/7 Tail feathers Discovered by Leroy Van Allen, April 1965. 42 II/I 5 ยท B/Al (7TF) (180) Reverse B/Al - Seven tail feather ends showing; between 1 and 2 (weak), between 2 and 3, under 3, 4, 5, and 6, and between 6 and 7 (weak). Some of the extra tail feather ends show a doubled appearance. Design remains in leaves of branch, below branch on left, and around wreath bow. Portion of extra arrow head below middle one. Die chips around E, T, R,and U in WE TRUST. Top of U in UNITED missing, polishing marks on lower half, and doubled D in GOD and T in TRUST.
