This coin is a Top 30 1878 Variety '''79 II/I 35 B1a (Missing Nostril,Doubled Cotton Leaves) (180) ''' '''Obverse II/I 35 -''' Slightly doubled LIBERTY shifted left. Doubled 2 through 7 stars on left and first three stars on right. Lower part of Liberty head nostril partially missing from over polished die. R of PLURIBUS doubled at top inside of upper loop. Hair, cotton bolls & leaves doubled on right side. Ear slightly doubled on right inside. ''Key identifier'' - Metal in loops of both 8's. (Also 201) '''Reverse B1a -''' Different die than VAM-70 .
