Judd-348, Pollock-400, completes the quartet of 1863 proof dollar motto patterns. This final dollar variety represents the most refined 1863 version of the With Motto silver dollar design. The dollar denomination would receive the adopted IN GOD WE TRUST motto in 1866, along with all other silver denominations from the half dime through the dollar. Together, the 1863 patterns across all denominations constitute a comprehensive cross-denominational design program that unified the motto implementation strategy.
