Strike TypeCoin Details
Description
Judd-328b is the second off-metal variant of J-328, completing the three-composition set for this die combination. This third alloy may represent nickel, aluminum, or another experimental metal being evaluated for potential use in dime production. The complete set of J-328, J-328a, and J-328b provides the most thorough metallurgical evaluation of a single dime design concept, allowing side-by-side comparison of how the same dies performed across three distinct planchet materials.
Rarity Notes
Rarity-7 to R-8. The rarest of the J-328 compositional variants. Estimated 3-5 specimens known.
