Description

The 1793 Chain Cent - Ameri. in Legend is part of the Flowing Hair Chain Cents 1793 series. With a mintage of 36,103, this is a scarce issue. The obverse features Liberty facing right with flowing hair, surrounded by stars, while the reverse displays a chain of 15 links representing the states of the Union.
