The 1791 Token 1/2P Liverpool - Angelsey Edge Half Penny is filed under LIVERPOOL Halfpenny in the Washington Pieces (1783-1800) series. The Liverpool halfpenny of 1791 uses the obverse of the Large Eagle cent, WASHINGTON PRESIDENT 1791, with a ship and LIVERPOOL HALFPENNY on the reverse and the edge PAYABLE IN ANGLESEY LONDON OR LIVERPOOL (Baker 17). The 2019 Stack's Bowers catalogue notes that it is often found on a flan too small for the dies. It is catalogued as Baker-17, Musante GW-19. PCGS lists it as #698.
