Description
The 2026 (W) Uncirculated Palladium Twenty Five Dollar is an uncirculated palladium coin struck at the West Point Mint, part of the American Palladium Eagles 2017 to Date series. The obverse features young Liberty wearing a winged Phrygian cap, symbolizing freedom of thought — often called the "Mercury" dime despite not depicting the Roman god — Adolph Weinman's Mercury Dime design adapted for the palladium program and the reverse displays an eagle with wings raised, holding a branch, adapted from Weinman's 1907 American Institute of Architects medal. It carries the dual date 1776 ~ 2026 and a Liberty Bell privy mark with the numeral 250, and the Mint limited it to 5,000 coins. Struck in 99.95% palladium, weighing 31.12 grams, 34.03 mm in diameter, with a reeded edge.
