Coin Details
Description
The 2026 Declaration of Independence Quarter - July 4 Privy carries a "July 4" privy mark and no mint mark. The U.S. Mint released 250,000 of these quarters into circulation for the Fourth of July, mixed in with the regular issue; the missing mint mark is intended, not an error. Like every coin in the Semiquincentennial program it carries the dual date 1776 ~ 2026. The obverse shows Thomas Jefferson, and the reverse shows the Liberty Bell ringing, designed by Benjamin Sowards. Struck in copper-nickel clad, 24.26 mm in diameter, with a reeded edge.
