In 2026 the West Point Mint struck the proof; its sales are not final. The obverse features sun rays breaking through storm clouds over a quill, with thirteen stars and DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE, and the reverse displays an eagle in flight with an olive branch in its talons. Designed by Christopher Polentz (obverse) and Patricia Lucas-Morris (reverse).
