The 2023 Morgan Dollar is a United States dollar from the 1921 Silver Dollar Anniversary Coins (2021 to Date) series — the second year of the series. In 2023 the Philadelphia Mint struck the uncirculated Morgan dollar and the San Francisco Mint the proof and the reverse proof. The obverse features Liberty facing left wearing a Phrygian cap adorned with wheat and cotton, encircled by stars and the reverse displays an eagle with outstretched wings clutching an olive branch and arrows, surrounded by a wreath. A modern issue from an era of rotating coin designs, collector-focused programs, and renewed interest in numismatic artistry. Struck in 99.9% silver, 38.1 mm in diameter, with a reeded edge.
