About This Coin
The 2021 National Law Enforcement Memorial and Museum Commemorative Dollar is a United States dollar from the Modern Commemorative Dollars (1982-Date) series. In 2021, the Philadelphia Mint struck 43,535 of these dollars, uncirculated and proof together, by the Mint's figures. The obverse shows an officer kneeling beside a child, with SERVE & PROTECT, and the reverse an officer shaking hands with a citizen. A modern issue from an era of rotating coin designs, collector-focused programs, and renewed interest in numismatic artistry. Struck in 99.9% silver, 38.1 mm in diameter. Designed by Frank Morris/Ronald D. Sanders.
