The 2021 (W) American Eagle Ten Dollar Gold - Type 1 is part of the American Eagle Ten Dollar Gold 1986 to Date series. The West Point Mint struck 56,000 of these Type 1 bullion coins dated 2021, by the Mint's figures. Saint-Gaudens's Liberty from the 1907 double eagle, carrying a torch and an olive branch, fills the obverse; Miley Busiek's reverse shows a male eagle with an olive branch flying above a nest where a female eagle sits with her young. A modern issue from an era of rotating coin designs, collector-focused programs, and renewed interest in numismatic artistry.
