The 2021 American Eagle Ten Dollar Gold is a United States Gold Eagle from the American Eagle Ten Dollar Gold 1986 to Date series. For 2021, the Mint's figures are 56,000 West Point Type 1 bullion coins, 108,000 West Point Type 2 bullion coins, 10,887 West Point Type 1 proofs and 13,601 West Point Type 2 proofs. Saint-Gaudens's Liberty from the 1907 double eagle fills the obverse, and 2021 brought two reverses: Miley Busiek's family of eagles on the Type 1 coins and Jennie Norris's portrait of an eagle's head on the Type 2 coins. A modern issue from an era of rotating coin designs, collector-focused programs, and renewed interest in numismatic artistry. Struck in 91.67% gold, 3% silver, 5.33% copper, weighing 8.48 grams, with a reeded edge.
