Description
The 2020 (W) Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Park V75 Quarter is a quarter produced at the West Point Mint as part of the America the Beautiful Quarters 2010-2021 series. Total mintage reached 2 million. The obverse features George Washington facing left, based on a 1786 bust by Jean-Antoine Houdon, while the reverse displays unique designs featuring national parks and sites from each state and territory. Designed by John Flanagan (obverse) / various reverse designers. Struck in 75% copper, 25% nickel over a pure copper center, 24.3 mm in diameter. Cataloged as PCGS #813462. The America the Beautiful Quarters Program (2010-2021) continued the legacy of rotating reverse designs, featuring national parks, monuments, forests, and historic sites. The program included both standard clad quarters and special 5 oz. silver bullion versions. Silver proof and First Day of Issue specimens are popular with collectors.
