Description

The 2020 (P) Native American Dollar - Position A is a dollar produced at the Philadelphia Mint as part of the Sacagawea & Native American Dollars 2000 to Date series. The obverse features Sacagawea carrying her infant son Jean Baptiste Crapeau on her back and the reverse displays rotating designs honoring Native American contributions to the United States. The 2020 Native American Dollar honors Elizabeth Peratrovich of the Tlingit Nation, whose testimony helped pass Alaska's Anti-Discrimination Act of 1945, the first state anti-discrimination law in the U.S. The Elizabeth Peratrovich and the Alaska Anti-Discrimination Law reverse highlighted Native civil rights. Struck at the original U.S. Mint facility, in continuous operation since 1792. Estimated market value ranges from $1 to $6 depending on grade and condition.
