Description
SKH-1c-2018D-01 on the 2018 (D) Lincoln Shield Cent documents a portrait-area die crack from Denver's production that year. Denver's 2018 cent output continued the multi-billion-unit annual production that characterizes modern cent manufacturing, ensuring a large die population and correspondingly numerous opportunities for individual dies to develop fatigue-related cracks. Attributed and cataloged by Cuds on Coins from Denver Mint production.
