Part of the Sacagawea & Native American Dollars 2000 to Date series, the 2013 (P) Native American Dollar - Position B is a dollar from the Philadelphia Mint. The U.S. Mint's figure of 1.8 million covers every 2013-P Native American dollar, whichever way the edge lettering faces; how many are Position B is not known. The obverse features Sacagawea carrying her infant son, Jean Baptiste Charbonneau, on her back; the reverse changes every year to honor a Native American contribution. The 2013 Native American Dollar commemorates the 1778 Treaty with the Delawares, the first formal treaty between the United States and a Native American nation. The reverse features a turkey, turtle, and wolf representing the three Delaware clans. Philadelphia's mint — the nation's first — has produced coins without interruption since its founding in 1792. Estimated market value ranges from $1 to $6 depending on grade and condition. Struck in manganese brass (77% copper, 12% zinc, 7% manganese, 4% nickel) bonded to a pure copper core, weighing 8.1 grams, 26.5 mm in diameter, with a lettered edge. Cataloged as PCGS #518108.
