The 2010 (W) Disabled Veterans Dollar is a dollar from the West Point Mint, belonging to the Modern Commemorative Dollars (1982-Date) series. The West Point Mint struck 78,101 uncirculated American Veterans Disabled for Life dollars dated 2010. The obverse shows the legs and boots of three veterans and the reverse a forget-me-not at the foot of a wreath of oak branches. A modern issue from an era of rotating coin designs, collector-focused programs, and renewed interest in numismatic artistry. West Point's facility evolved from a bullion storage depot into a key coin production center, now responsible for many commemorative and precious-metal issues.
